When you log into Facebook on a Private ( non -shared) computer you can now
Register that computer with Facebook and get email notifications when your log -in is accessed
You need to first log into Facebook then navigate to Account Settings/Account Security where you will find
- Quote :
Select the
Yes button and click on
Submit >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
When you next log into Facebook you will be met by a page that looks like this

You need to complete that to progress into Facebook and you will get an email notification that a log- in has been attempted
It is up to you to use or not but I think it a good idea
I also
very strongly suggest
you do not access Facebook on any shared computer why? you may ask......
If it is a shared computer someone else also uses it; as such you have no idea what programs any user has put on the computer that can obtain details of your account and log in details
If you wish to really protect your Facebook log in ,only log in on your own known computer that no one else uses and also ensure that all Protection and Security programs (that of course you have installed)are up to date and run regularly to check for any infections ....
