- TORONTO - There's been a huge surge in membership of a Facebook page that will update users about active Amber Alerts in Ontario.
As of noon Saturday, about 30,000 people had clicked "like" on the page.
That's compared to the 5,000 members that signed up by Friday evening.
The page, called Amber Alert Ontario, was launched Friday morning.
